Citicoline (Cognizin®), acetyl-l-carnitine, n-acetyl-l-tyrosine, standardized Bacopa Monnieri (BaCognize®), phosphatidylserine (Sharp-PS® Green from sunflower), glycerylphosphorylcholine (AlphaGrain™), vitamin b6 (pyridoxal 5′-phosphate), magnesium stearate (vegan), silica. Capsule: vegan (pullulan). Contains soy source.
Citicoline (CDP choline) is a phospholipid consisting of cytidine (which is converted to uridine) and essential choline. It is naturally occurring in the brain and part of the choline metabolism where it forms, among other things, the phospholipid phosphatidylcholine and the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, substances vital for a well-functioning brain. Cognizin® is doubtless the best citicoline, with indubitable quality and purity. [1,2,3]
Bacopa Monnieri, also known as Brahmi, is a herb that has been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years and is one of the most regarded herbal supplements for the brain and cognitive health. [9, 10] BaCognize® is a pure, high-quality extract, standardized for serotonin-active bacosides, which in clinical studies has shown numerous positive effects on brain functions. [11,12]
Phosphatidylserine is a naturally occurring phospholipid contained in the cell membrane of all the cells of the body. Phosphatidylserine is particularly common in the brain, where it accounts for 13-15% of all phospholipids in the cerebral cortex, where it maintains flexible cell membranes and myelin sheaths. [4,5] Primarily, phosphatidylserine contributes to maintaining fluidity and permeability in the brain cells but is also involved in the formation of brain cells (neurogenesis) and mitochondria. A lot of research has been conducted on phosphatidylserine showing supplementation can have benefits. [6,7,8] We use SharpPS Green from sunflower, which is of exceptional quality and efficiency.
Alpha-GPC (glycerylphosphorylcholine) is a phospholipid metabolite, naturally occurring in the brain. It is found in foods such as liver, soy, milk and red meat. Alpha-GPC contains 40% choline by weight and easily crosses the blood-brain barrier, making it one of the absolutely best choline sources for the brain.
Acetyl-l-carnitine (ALCAR, ALC) is an acetylated variant of the non-essential amino acid l-carnitine, which more easily crosses the blood-brain barrier. The amino acid l-carnitine transports fatty acids to the mitochondria in the nerve cells, where it is used as an energy source. Acetyl-l-carnitine has also shown to contribute to the synthesis of acetylcholine, according to one study. According to studies, acetyl-l-carnitine also possesses strong antioxidant properties that can help protect cells against oxidative stress.[16,17]
N-acetyl-l-tyrosine (NALT) is an acetylated variant of the non-essential amino acid l-tyrosine with greater bioavailability. In the body, l-tyrosine is a precursor to dopamine and norepinephrine and to the thyroid hormones T3 and T4. The subject is often used in a training context for its positive effects on mood and focus.
Pyridoxal phosphate (P5P), vitamin B6 in its active form is a coenzyme involved in nearly 100 different reactions in the body. Pyridoxal phosphate is a very important part of biosynthesis and participates in the formation of serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, as well as in the formation of red blood cells and protein synthesis in the body.
Have been taken CLVR for more than a month now. Initially I haven't felt anything special and I wasn't sure it works, but after 2nd week I almost instantly started to feel amazing. In a nutshell, I have more mental energy, I feel I can tackle daily tasks much easier and overall my mind feels fantastic. I'll add here that daily meditation probably enhances all the benefits of CLVR.
I would highly recommend trying CLVR, I ordered one bottle after researching the brain fog I am experiencing, the bottle arrived only two days later. It really does work and you can certainly feel the difference it makes, I’ve tried both taking 2 pills daily and some days 4 pills. I find that the dosage of two pills daily is enough for me but I would definitely recommend trying four pills daily as well, especially the days you feel a bit more fatigue
I have eaten Clvr for over 4 weeks now and notice a clear difference in my mental capacity. My work as a Software Test Engineer requires me to both stay focused and think outside the box. Already after a few days I noticed that I could stay focused longer and have a deeper chain of thought than before.
